Glenda and Nathan Annual Employee Picnic

As some of you may or may not know, our company organizes an annual picnic for all company employee and their families. Today was picnic day!!! Every annual picnic, groups of us would form teams and compete to win cheesy prizes and this year Nathan and I were roped into it. (Nathan gets roped in every year. First year for me).

This year the picnic was held at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club (very swanky).

Each team had to come up with uniforms/costumes to identify the team members. Luckily we had less than embarassing costumes this year (as seen below). We had big "X" taped on our backs and we were named "the X-men"... LOL!

As mentioned above, games were played. There was one game where one team member has to wear a shower cap with whip cream sprayed all over the cap and all the team members had to throw styrofoam bit at the head. The team with the most styrofoam bits stuck to the cap wins. Nathan was our 'throw at" person. Our team only managed to stick 135 bits and the other team got 154. SO CLOSE! (Please note: licking the styrofoam bits was not part of the game. lol!
